An African-American teen that he was the victim of a hate crime at a party in West Chicago, Ill. The victim alleges that three white teens approached him after they saw him talking to a white girl and then punched and kicked him repeatedly. He suffered a broken jaw, four missing teeth and cuts and bruises. Three men were charged with aggravated battery.
A California man has been of arson and hate crime charges for attempting to burn down a church. Prosecutors said Izad Chavoshan was disgruntled over the local church鈥檚 teachings on masturbation.
