‘Anonymous’ Attacks, Shuts Down Neo-Nazi Web Forum
The Internet hacking collective known as continued its assault on neo-Nazi and hate group websites Friday by going after Aryan-Front.com, a white supremacist online forum.
Before the , visitors were greeted with messages such as “Hacked by Anonymous,” “You should have expected us” and “F--- off, Nazi scum.” Anonymous said it plans to publicly release archived forum posts and private messages lifted from Aryan-Front.com.
The attack is part of “Operation Blitzkrieg,” a project the “hacktivist” group has launched to attack white supremacist neo-Nazi groups and, in the process, inflict unprecedented damage by releasing a torrent of personal information about the groups and their supporters.
So far, Anonymous has disabled sites including , the first and largest white nationalist site in the world, and two websites belonging to the Topeka, Kan.-based , which is known for its slogan “God Hate F---” and whose members frequently picket funerals of soldiers and others to call attention to their harsh, anti-gay views.
