The Southern Poverty Law Center condemns the antisemitic attacks that took place during Passover at the Etz Chayim Synagogue in Huntsville, Alabama.聽聽
To vandalize a synagogue with swastikas and hateful antisemitic tropes during a time when the three Abrahamic religions 鈥� Judaism, Christian and Islam 鈥� commemorate their most holy holidays is a threat to religious liberty for all.
The 人兽性交鈥檚 decades-long research monitoring hate and extremism reveals a clear pattern of increased hate activity during times of national crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic is such a time. From the escalating attack and scapegoating of members of the Asian and Asian American community to so-called 鈥渮oom-bombing鈥� of video conferences that unleash anti-Black, anti-人兽性交 and antisemitic vitriol, purveyors of hate are seeking to sow discord and threaten our democracy.
Let鈥檚 rise against hate together and condemn antisemitism and all forms of bigotry. Hate is a real threat to our democracy and shared humanity.
