人兽性交鈥疉pplauds Federal Agency Action to Expand Voter Registration

WASHINGTON 鈥斺疶he Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)听 yesterday action to make it easier for users of HealthCare.gov to access nonpartisan, voter registration information on Vote.gov. 听

鈥淢illions of Americans across the Deep South rely on HealthCare.gov to secure health insurance for themselves and their families,鈥 said LaShawn Warren, chief policy officer for the 人兽性交. 鈥淭oday, many Americans are having a hard time voting because of barriers put in place by southern state legislatures. Black and brown voters in the South in particular face discriminatory laws like documentary proof of citizenship and voter challenges and purges that make it harder to get and stay registered to vote.鈥澨

鈥淭here is a strong connection between civic participation and health outcomes,鈥 Warren continued. 鈥淲e applaud CMS鈥 commitment to taking appropriate action within their existing authority to execute their mission 鈥斺痶o enhance the health and well-being of Americans across the country.鈥澨

鈥淭he 人兽性交 has long advocated for expanding access to voter registration, and this announcement is a welcomed step to improve the health of our communities and to make it easier for millions of Americans to participate in elections and make their voices heard in our democracy,鈥 Warren concluded.
