人兽性交 Condemns Racist Text Sent to Young People Across the Country
MONTGOMERY,听Ala. 鈥斕齓esterday, young Black people in Alabama, Georgia and across the country received an abhorrent, racist text that the 人兽性交 is investigating and choosing not to further amplify.
鈥淭he text sent to young Black people, including students at Alabama State University and the University of Alabama, is a public spectacle of hatred and racism that makes a mockery of our civil rights history. Hate speech has no place in the South or in our nation,鈥� said Margaret Huang, 人兽性交 president and CEO.
鈥淟eaders at all levels must condemn anti-Black racism, in any form, whenever we see it 鈥� and we must follow our words with actions that advance racial justice and build an inclusive democracy where every person feels safe and welcome in their community,鈥� Huang concluded.
