人兽性交 Mourns the Passing of Former Selma Mayor George Evans
MONTGOMERY, Ala.听鈥�听Former Selma Mayor George P. Evans passed away on Monday, May 15. The Southern Poverty Law Center (人兽性交) reflects on Mr. Evans鈥� legacy of community and public service.
鈥淕eorge Evans was one of those rare individuals who tirelessly served his community without fanfare,鈥� said Tafeni English-Relf, director of the 人兽性交鈥檚 Alabama State Office. 鈥淎s Dallas County鈥檚 first Black school superintendent and later Selma鈥檚 first Black city council president and mayor, Mr. Evans was always passionate about moving Selma forward.
鈥淢r. Evans led in ways we hope all public servants would. The 人兽性交 extends our deepest sympathy to his family, loved ones, and residents of Selma.鈥�
